Terms of Service

Joey’s List is a Los Angeles talent listing and availability service. Talent maintain a profile and post availability; Casting Directors search available Talent, send availability checks and First Avail requests, and book Talent. Joey’s List is not a talent agency and does not employ Talent or guarantee work.

Accounts are issued to individual Talent, to Casting Directors at approved casting companies, and to Joey’s List staff. Keep your sign-in details private and use the service only through your own account. Membership status and account access are controlled by Joey’s List.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, including your contact details, sizes, photos and availability. Casting information you receive through Joey’s List, including Talent contact details released with a booking, is confidential and may be used only for that casting work.

Posted availability is a representation that you are genuinely available on those dates. A First Avail request is a hold request, not a booking. A booking exists only when it is issued as a booking and confirmed. Respond promptly to casting requests; repeated unreliability may affect your listing.

Text messages from Joey’s List are entirely voluntary. You receive them only if you check the SMS consent box in your Talent profile; the box is never pre-selected, and consent is not a condition of purchasing or maintaining Joey’s List service.

If you consent, messages relate to casting activity, including First Avail requests, booking confirmations, booking updates, reconfirmation requests and other time-sensitive casting notifications. Message frequency varies with casting activity and may be several messages per week during busy periods. Message and data rates may apply under your plan with your mobile carrier; Joey’s List does not charge for text messages.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or uncheck the SMS consent box in your Talent profile. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@joeyslist.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of text messages does not affect your Joey’s List membership, your availability, or the email and in-app notices you continue to receive.

Do not misrepresent yourself, share another person’s casting information, scrape or resell Joey’s List data, or use the service to contact Talent or Casting for anything other than legitimate casting work.

We may update these terms and will post the revised date above. We may suspend or end access for misuse or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time.

The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Joey’s List is not liable for lost bookings, lost earnings or indirect damages arising from use of the service. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
